This is the one event at the FWSC that you don't want to miss. It is the Annual Casino Night and Silent Auction Fundraiser with the motto of "Speakeasy". If you like, come dressed from the roaring 20s and early 30s. There will awards of "best dressed", and "best dancing". It is the time of prohibition, the nationwide constitutional ban on alcoholic beverages that lasted from 1920 to 1933, coincide with the founding date of the FWSC in 1927.
"Speakeasy" became an important part of the American Culture during the prohibition years in hidden bars and clubs. The word means speaking quietly about such a place in public, or when inside it, so as not to alert the police or neighbors.
This annual fundraiser is the most important one for the FWSC. We also invite parents of the FWSC Youth to join us and win the auction items that were prepared and crafted by the many youth team players and parents.
The fundraiser will benefit the many construction projects at the club to prepare us for growth in the future.
